💻 #60: Build an AI image generator with OpenAI & Node.js 🖼🧠
Use GPT-3 to generate images with OpenAI
Happy Friday! 👋
I haven’t stopped using ChatGPT all week, I just think it’s the most exciting piece of technology. Since hearing about it, I’ve been trying to think of what projects I could build that use it. I was hoping to find a tutorial this week using ChatGPT but I couldn’t find anything (I’ll share it once I do) but for now, I found another tutorial using DALL-E for image generation. I even used ChatGPT to generate an explanation, check it out:
I’m not sure if it’s true, but I think after beta, it will become a paid service. Would you pay for ChatGPT if it became paid? If so, how much would you pay per month to use it?
Tutorial of the week:
Length: 36 minutes
Difficulty: Beginner
This weekend’s tutorial is by one of the original Youtube web developer content creators, Traversy Media. He consistently puts out fantastic content, teaching your web development in a clear and concise way.

3 creative projects of the week:
1. Lightyear.fm
Radio broadcasts leave Earth at the speed of light. Scroll away from Earth and hear how far the biggest hits of the past have travelled. The farther away you get, the longer the waves take to travel there—and the older the music you’ll hear.
2. Toulr
On this site, you can take any text input and see it displayed in a variety of fonts, great for social media posts. Simply type your text into the input field and your text will be transformed into an array of different fonts. From modern and minimalist to whimsical and decorative, this website has a font for every style and taste.
3. Is It Wednesday?
Simple apps like this are great if you’re just getting to learn a new technology. Simple and straight to the point.
I teamed up with Udemy to bring you a discount as a new user. If you’re looking to grab a course on web development courses start at $14.99! Click here to get your first course for $14.99
