Hey there, developer! đ
In this weekendâs project, weâre going to create a note-taking app with React.js.
What I recommend you do after youâre finished with this project, is find a way to make the CSS unique to you! Pick your favourite colours, add a background image, play around with border-radius, and transparency. Really customize the code and make it your own. Hereâs a list of all CSS references for inspiration. When youâre finished add it to your portfolio! đ

3 creative projects of the week:
1. Webb Compare
Iâm sure you heard the buzz around the release of the James Webb Space Telescope images recently. Well, what I didnât know was that they were pointing the telescope at places spots in the universe that weâve already looked at. This is exciting because we see how much the technology has advanced.
Use this tool to compare the images. Plus check out this GitHub repository here
Nice work, John!
2. Marco Prouvé Portfolio
I love this modern take on a portfolio website! Beautifully done Marco!
3. Wealth Visualization
Scroll to the right to really grasp how wealthy Jeff Bezos and the top 400 Americans are. I feel like these tools really put into perspective how wealthy someone is.
Thatâs all folks!
I hope you enjoyed this weekendâs edition of Weekend Web Dev!
I also hope these three projects give you inspiration for your future projects, portfolio, or just something cool to play around with for a bit.
Share your tutorial progress with me on Twitter! Iâd love to see what youâre making.
Your fellow weekend warrior,
Devan
PS. A lot of people asked me how I got started with web development, I can highly recommend this course by Andrew Mead, it was the first Udemy course I ever bought and I owe it to the course for teaching me the fundamentals of Javascript which are used in all frontend frameworks.
