💻 #19 Build a Cryptocurrency Dashboard with React.js ⚡
Keep track of cryptocurrency prices on your own dashboard 📈
Happy Friday, developer! 👋
I hope you had a great week! This weekend’s project we’ll be building a cryptocurrency dashboard by using a free API to get our data and display it on a clean, easy to search dashboard. Here’ what it will look like:
Tutorial of the week:
Length: 2 hours
Difficulty: Beginner
This weekend’s tutorial is by JavaScriptMastery, they consistently put our great tutorials on web development.
What you’ll learn this weekend:
React.js 🌐
Redux 🔥
React Hooks 🪝
RapidAPI 🐙
3 creative projects of the week:
1. Treksit
This fun little browser game is a great way to pass some time. The object is to have no overlapping lines by adjusting the corners. Oddly addicting this game.
2. Netflix codes
Sometimes you have a feeling for what you want to watch, but not quite sure how find it. Well with this site, you can search for the Deep Sea horror movie you’ve always been looking for.
Netflix has their own internal way to categorize sub-genres and this website helps you navigate them.
3. Outfittor
With spring just around the corner and covid restrictions lifting, it might just be time to upgrade your wardrobe! This project can spark some inpiratation for both men and women. It randomizes outfit combinations to give you inspiration!
That’s all folks!
I hope you enjoyed this weekend’s edition of Weekend Web Dev!
I also hope these three projects give you inspiration for your future projects, portfolio, or just something cool to play around with for a bit.
Share your tutorial progress with me on Twitter! I’d love to see what you’re building.
